September 30-October 10, Floreana to Buenaventura, Colombia, with deep-sea sampling enroute. October 2, crossed the Equator. October 12-22, Buenaventura to Chatham Bay, Cocos Island, with deep-sea sampling enroute. October 22-31, Cocos to La Union, El Salvador, with sampling enroute. November 2-14?, La Union to Acapulco, Mexico. November 15-22, Acapulco to Cabo San Lucas. November 22-29, Cabo San Lucas to San Diego via Tortola Bay. Cruise ended December 1 with departure of the scientific party.
